David Orsburn , P.E. |
David began his career at Three I as a programmer and drafter and became a Principal in 2003. While completing his education he worked as a drafter, designer, and start-up technician. He now works closely with Rick Broerman in the day-to-day operations of the electrical department. David’s primary responsibility is managing the Computer and Controls division of the electrical department. He manages the project loading, reviews the process narratives, approves code, attends client meetings, reviews engineering quotations, assists on start-up and checkout, and promotes the company. Project Experience In addition to his duties at Three I, David has been working as a Project Manager/Facilitator at GE Plastics. His duties include taking projects from inception to completion utilizing Six Sigma tools following the Design for Six Sigma design process. He also works with the GE engineers as a project facilitator assisting the engineers in maintaining schedule, budget, and functionality of the project. David has worked with many of the engineering firms in town to coordinate designs to insure successful completion of the projects. David works closely with the building safety director and participates in the Management of Change meetings.
