| Ray joined Three I Engineering in 2002 after a 21 year career in Kansas City, Mo.. He was promoted to principal in 2004. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Environmental Design and has been a Board Certified Architect since 1993. His project involvement has varied with each project and has included preliminary design, design development, construction document preparation, specifications, project bidding assistance and construction management services. The construction management services have included communication coordination between owner, contractor and designers; field question resolution; change order documentation; project meetings; payment application review, photographic documentation, daily field reports and project close out services Ray has worked on a number of projects which have included construction management services as part of the A/E services provided. Past projects include: University of Kansas Medical CenterBiomedical Research Building Kansas City, Kansas Ray directed the design of the four story, 56,000 s.f. research laboratory from preliminary design through completion of construction documents. During the bid phase he handled all requests for information and provided project closeout services. The University of Health Sciences Education Pavilion Kansas City, Missouri Ray was the project architect for this 100,000 s.f. medical education building from preliminary design through project closeout, including construction management services. Training Aids Center Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri This 96,000 s.f. media center for the Corps of Engineers houses all of the print, video, and live training aid materials for the Engineer's School of the U.S. Army.
